This is tested on fresh Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

7-zip must be installed

Deployment Tools from ADK 10 must be installed or execute adksetup.exe now.

Save save these files to the c:\pre:

Create c:\slisptream.cmd with content:
@echo off

rem I want to use latest dism utility instead of default
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\amd64\DISM"

echo This media contains following versions of Windows:

echo.

pause

Run slipstream.cmd in "Run As Administrator" mode

Look for:
c:\win7ie11x64.iso
At the end it all looks like in video:

Windows could not apply unattend settings during pass [offlineServicing].

I am testing Windows 7 patch slipstream result on real hardware environment not VirtualBox. I have slipstreamed more than 250 updates into install.wim using my super code which originaly was designed for Windows 8.1 but with a very little modification can be used also for Windows 7.
After all i made USB medium to install the operating system.

The installation were almost successful but NOT! Then i got:
Windows could not apply unattend settings during pass [offlineServicing].
WTF?

I am using this autounattend.xml which a has always used:

Force Windows Defender to update, command line

Windows Defender releases new definition updates every two hours or often. To force your windows to receive latest definitions open command prompt in "Run as administrator" mode and execute command:
"C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -SignatureUpdate
In order to complete the command you need internet access ;)
This will take up to five minutes and the output will be similar to this:
Signature update started . . .
Signature update finished.

Now go Start -> All Programs -> Windows System -> Windows Defender

look under "Update" tab for "Definitions last updated":

If you want to update Windows Defender in offline mode use:
kb2267602 offline installer, silent install

Get latest Office 2013 Customization Tool, command line

Office 2013 Customization Tool releases new version every two months or something.
Old links no not work anymore and also if you have bookmarked the main link for official Office 2013 Customization Tool download page then it has be removed too! everytime we have to search again for Office 2013 Customization Tool and look for new links :@

Lets create some automation process ;)

1. Use search link to look for product.
I will use keywords "Office 2013 Administrative Template files":
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/Results.aspx?q=Office 2013 Administrative Template files
2. Take first search result and replace details with confirmation.
This will move to the instant downlod page. For example:
before: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35554
 after: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35554
3. Look for full http links wich begins with http and ends with exe:
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" | grep "^http.*exe" | gnusort | uniq
get-office-2013-cust-tool.cmd
@echo off
set path=%path%;%~dp0
for /f "tokens=*" %%a in ('^
wget --no-cookies --no-check-certificate -qO- "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/Results.aspx?q=Office 2013 Administrative Template files" --user-agent="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)" ^|
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" ^|
grep "^http.*en-us.*download.*details" ^|
gnusort ^|
uniq ^|
sed "s/details/confirmation/"') do (
echo %%a
for /f "tokens=*" %%b in ('^
wget --no-cookies --no-check-certificate -qO- "%%a" --user-agent="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)" ^|
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" ^|

uniq') do wget %%b
)

Don't track your own pageviews do not work, blogger

If you click on "Don't track your own pageviews":

Then some loading screen appears:

And after all the browser hands:

As an workaround you can eliminate you own pageviews with one http request
http://www.catonrug.net/b/statsBlockingCookie?action=SET&callback=__gwt_jsonp__.P2.onSuccess
Just replace catonrug.net with your own domain and hit enter;)

The response in browser window should look like this:
// API callback
__gwt_jsonp__.P2.onSuccess({"status":"yes"});
P.S. this won't work in Internet Explorer.

Stream pictures from Raspberry Pi camera module

At first rasperry pi cam module must be enabled under
sudo raspi-config
Add uv4l repository as trustable:
curl http://www.linux-projects.org/listing/uv4l_repo/lrkey.asc | sudo apt-key add -
Open sources.list
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
and add another repository at the end:
deb http://www.linux-projects.org/listing/uv4l_repo/raspbian/ wheezy main
Save the file and exit

Update system and install all necessary packages:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y && sudo apt-get install uv4l uv4l-raspicam uv4l-raspicam-extras uv4l-server uv4l-uvc uv4l-xscreen uv4l-mjpegstream -y

Check if new Adobe Reader patches are available online

I love to use Adobe Reader administration installer files like msi together with patch files msp.
Now i am figuring a way how to list all available installers and patch files.

To work with this method i save these files:
http://gnu.catonrug.net/wget.exe
http://gnu.catonrug.net/grep.exe
http://gnu.catonrug.net/libiconv2.dll
http://gnu.catonrug.net/libintl3.dll
http://gnu.catonrug.net/regex2.dll
http://gnu.catonrug.net/sed.exe

For Version 11 i run this script:
check-ar11.cmd:
@echo off
for /f %%b in ('^
wget -qO- ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/ ^|
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" ^|
grep "^ftp"') do (
for /f %%c in ('^
wget -qO- %%ben_US/ ^|
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" ^|
grep "^ftp"') do (
echo %%c | grep "AdbeRdr.*msi" | sed "s/^.*\///g"
)
for /f %%c in ('^
wget -qO- %%bmisc/ ^|
sed "s/\d034/\n/g" ^|
grep "^ftp"') do (
echo %%c | grep "^.*msp" | grep -v "_" | sed "s/^.*\///g"
)
)
pause
And the output will be similar to this:
AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi
AdbeRdrUpd11001.msp
AdbeRdrSecUpd11002.msp
AdbeRdrUpd11003.msp

HP Spectre x360 turn on legacy boot mode, boot from USB

Why are you searching these keywords?
Why you are not able to boot from USB?
Why you can not set active legacy boot mode?

I have just exact problem and i was clicking BIOS options for hours..
The main problem, the big mistake what i was doing wrong all the time is..
Pressing [Esc] button all the time at the boot or reboot! @#^:o!!!

The point is that if you change [security boot] or [lecacy boot] settings..
Then press F10 to save and exit..
Confirm exit and save with [Yes]..
At the next boot you have to really confirm these settings with random generated PIN code! So..
Do not press [Esc] anymore when boot after fresh BIOS settings change!
You have to Enter PIN code and press Enter to confirm these very sensitive settings!

Remove expired and superseded updates, SCCM

I have SCCM 2012 R2 and i have to remove superseded and expired updates in all my groups.
Actually it is quite impossible to remove complete the package appearance from update groups!

But there is a script that clear every update membership if the update has expired or superseded statuss.

To install this menu you have to download and install Clean-CMSoftwareUpdateGroup.ps1
https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Remove-Expired-Superseded-f35495e1

Extract this archive in c:\temp

Open PowerShell console. Move to the c:\temp\Clean-CMSoftwareUpdateGroup directory and execute
.\Invoke-ToolInstallation.ps1 -SiteServer SITECODENAME -Method Install -Path C:\Scripts -Verbose
If you recieve an error about "execution of scripts is disabled on this system" you have to type:
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
If you want to clear expired un superseded updates appearance under update groups, then you have to:
1) Delete software update deployment

2) Delete software grpup by itself

3) Modify policy

4) Make sure you have option "Enable the deployment after this rule is run" on!

Execute new policy
